Friday, July 27th Neighborhood Association of Sodus Point 9th Annual Dinner Dance at the Sodus Bay Heights Country Club. This year’s theme is “Bay of the Silvery Waters”. The money raised at this event each year has helped to fund a variety of projects, such children’s playground, winterfest, downtown revitalization grant & triathlon. Funds raised for 2007 include a Village clock & an information board to announce upcoming Community events. We appreciate your support of our fundraisers!

Saturday, August 4th Sodus Point Fire Department Open House at the Sodus Point Fire Hall. Ride the LARC (an amphibious vehicle will take you from the Fire Hall, down Main Street and off the beach onto Lake Ontario and back to the Fire Hall! KIDS LOVE THIS!!

Sunday, August 19th:   Sodus Point Triathlon Co-sponsored by NASP & The Yellow Jacket Racing Association. Lake Swim, Bike race through countryside, and final foot race around Sodus Point. The community is invited to participate as a contestant or volunteer along the route for this exciting event. Another fund-raiser for the Neighborhood Association.

September and October, Daily: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  U-Pick and Picnic Apple Picking,   Bring your friends and family to the farm to pick many varieties of the freshest apples around; don’t miss out on our Honey Crisps! Ride our hay wagon into the orchards!  Apples are priced by the bag.

September 29th: Jam with the Animals at the Music Fest,  gates open at noon. Music will include blues, reggae, rock, acoustic guitar, jazz, and more; it promises to be one hot jammin’ fall “after-mooooin!”  Admission: $10 advance/ $12 at the gate.

Sunday, October 7th: Noon to 5:00 p.m. "Annual Apple Feast" sponsored by the Great Sodus Bay Association.  A Family fun, fall harvest celebration right on the shores of scenic Sodus Bay.  Features the best Apple Cook-off Contest with prizes, as well as the Apple Pie Eating Contest ($2.00 entry fee - winner takes all!)

Taste and purchase fresh Apples, Apple Cider, Cheese, Produce, Apple Wine and Wines from local growers and vineyards.  Visit local restaurants and shops, take a walk along the most scenic bay on Lake Ontario, or let the kids play at one of the area's nicest playgrounds.

November

November 17: Blue Moose Silent Auction and Spaghetti Dinner,  at the Wolcott Elks Lodge.  Hundreds of items to bid on!  Free admission;  Dinner $7.50 adults/$5.00 kids.
