Lake Bluff Campground is only 2 miles
from Chimney Bluff State Park which is located on the shores of Lake Ontario, and only 1 mile from
5 marinas on the east side of Sodus Bay. The stunning ridges and cutouts at Chimney Bluff are a
spectacular creation of nature, one that our guests don't want to miss while they're here.
Alasa Academy
In addition to running 3 weeks of children's weeklong summer workshops from 8:00-2:00 at
Alasa Farms this summer (July 9-13, July 16-20, & July 23-27 2007), Alasa Academy is sponsoring
the third annual Family Camping Weekend at Alasa Farms on September 29th and 30th, 2007.
The
camping weekend is open to the public and includes: overnight camping available for tents, campers, horses,
motor homes, etc in a rustic setting; Chuckwagon dinner; Karaoke around a campfire; access to the
700 acres with marked trails for hiking or riding our own horses; fossil creek tour; farm and
Cracker Box Farm Animal Haven tour, and more. Apple picking and a Haunted Orchard Walk put on by
Rita Lesniak's Girl Scout Troop, and Wagon rides are available on site.
Trips to Sodus Point or
Third Creek and other surrounding interest points are encouraged during the day for people new to
the area.
